Project: Autodesk Pier 9, San Francisco

As part of Autodesk Foundation’s support we have been invited to join Autodesk’s Pier 9 Residency Program, that will allow us to develop and adapt the GoSol technology to digital fabrication methods such as laser cutting, 3D printing and CNC.

Located downtown San Francisco, Autodesk Pier 9 is a state-of-the-art digital fabrication workshop hosting a cross-section of Autodesk’s industry leading employees, technical experts and creative partners. Launched in 2013, Pier 9 was designed as a place to explore every stage of the process of making things, from idea to digital model to real-world physical product.

We are in San Francisco from February to June 2017, with the goal to integrate digital fabrication methods into our workflow, get connected to the maker community here and further our practice of impact oriented design.
